Josh Zientek is a founding partner of Mitchell, Zientek & Scruggs, LLP, a law firm that represents special district clients such as water districts, improvement districts, and water supply corporations in matters related to public finance, urban development, local government regulation, and state and federal compliance. Prior to helping found the firm, Josh worked directly with Frank at Roach & Mitchell, PLLC from 2017 to 2020. He also managed his own law practice, the Law Office of Joshua Zientek, PLLC, for several years, where he handled litigation in a variety of criminal and civil cases.
Josh is highly skilled in attending special district meetings to advise governing boards, conducting detailed legal research, and drafting complex contracts and other legal documents. He is a fluent speaker and reader/writer of Spanish and Portuguese, and has lived and worked abroad. He is known for his hands-on, personal approach to customer service, which he gained from his experience managing his own law practice.
He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center, and holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the same institution.
